Adjectives to be removed from the National Curriculum

‘Adjectives are gone’

TIMEWASTING flowery language will be banned from the classroom, the Department for Education has announced.

‘Classroom time is valuable. We’ve cut down on fidgeting, fighting, farting, shouting out, whispering, flicking of ears, attempting to ignite each other with bunsen burners and general messing around, but more savings are always possible. It’s high time adjectives were brought under the spotlight’, said Secretary of State for Education Nicky Morgan.

‘We’re trying to get the kids off to the best possible start and ensure they are ready to face the challenges of modern Britain, adjectives just clog things up’
